David Cannon Sr. was a South Carolina colonist.

A. David Cannon, Sr., born about 1759, died 26 March 1826, married Nancy Johnston, born 1766, died 3 January 1825, daughter of Daniel Johnston and Ann Anderson. Buried Bethlehem Lutheran Church cemetery.

David was born about 1759. David Cannon ... He passed away in 1826.[1]

SON of Ephriam Cannon (1737-1803) & Eleanor Paden Caldwell (09/24/1734, {in Larne, Ireland} - c.a. 1804}

His tombstone reads: "Here / lies the body / of / DAVID CANNON / Senior / who departed this life / March the 26th, 1826. / Aged 67 years / He was the father of 13 children / He was much respected / and lamented by the / poor and needy."
