30 June 1691: After the death of William, Ruth Siblye spoke at court, stating that she had by will a good farm of 140 acres from her father William Canterbury. She had been married first to Thomas Small and had one son and three daughters. He was dead 15 years, and she had been married to William 14 years. William brought little estate with him and was sickly for several years, thought to be consumption.^[3]
