Owned 22 slaves at the time of his death. Those slaves were bequeathed to his widow Jane and children James, Samuel, and Joseph, and to sons-in-law Joseph White, Capt. William Bellinger (husband of Mary Cantey) and James McClogin.[1][2][3]

I have removed all of the text that did not apply to this man. I also added the probate records that name his slaves and their division among his children.
Cantey-46 and Cantey-9 appear to represent the same person because: Cantey-46's wife was Jane (likely) Baker. Plus there's the right father and brother George, too. Too bad there's not more exact dates from this time, but this must be the same guy.
