Biography
Descendant of William Cantrell, the first Cantrell in North America. William arrived from England with Captain John Smith in Jamestown, Virginia on April 20, 1607
Levi was born in April 1844 in DeKalb County, Tennessee. He was the son of James Cantrell and Lucinda Taylor. He passed away in May 1923 in DeKalb County, Tennessee and is buried in Old Bildad Baptist Church Cemetery in DeKalb County.
