John L. Cantrell was born in 1806.

He married Francis Arnold in 1838.[1]

He married Sarah "Sallie" Arnall on 12 April 1846 in Carroll County, Georgia.[2]

He was a farmer when he and Sarah appeared on the census of 16 Sep. 1850 at Carroll County, Georgia.[3]
