Biography

Burgess was born in 1841in Warren County, Tennessee. He was the son of Isaac Cantrell and Elizabeth Womack. He passed away in 1934 Wright County, Missouri. He is buried in Mount Zion Cemetery, Odin, Wright County.^[1]

In 1860 Burgess was living with his parents in DeKalb County, Tennessee.^[2]

Burgess married Martha A Hunter on 22 February 1871 in Wright County, Missouri.^{[citation needed]}

In 1880 they were living in Montgomery, Wright County, Missouri.^[3]
