Widow of Henry D. Cantrell, dec'd, who was mustered into service by E. W. Turner at Yellville on 11th July 1861 in Company C commanded by Capt. W. C. Mitchell and Capt. A. L. Hudson 14th Arkansas Regiment. Deceased was about 5 ft. 10 or 11 inches tall, dark complexion, black eyes and hair, age near 25, occupation: farmer, who was mentally wounded at the Battle of Elk Horn on 7th Mar 1862. The deceased at the time of death had 4 months & 26 days due wages at $11 a month and $25 due for clothing. Widow seeks payment of wages and clothes allowance. Signed: Amanda J.
