Biography

Peter was born in 1806 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. He was the son of Isaac Cantrell and Nancy Cantrell. He passed away in January 1868 in Keltonburg, DeKalb County, Tennessee and is buried in Fuston Cemetery, DeKalb County.[1]

He married Mary Cantrell about 1828 in Warren County, Tennessee.

In 1850 Green and Mary were living in DeKalb County, Tennessee with their children Isaac, Nancy, Benjamin, Peter, Jeffer [Jefferson], Larry, William, John, Leonard, Robert, and Melissa Cantrell.[2]

In 1860 Peter and Mary were living in DeKalb County with their children Benjamin, Sarah, William, John, Leonard, Robert, Eleanor, and Mary Cantrell.[3]
