Castrenza Maria Canzoneri is born and baptized 26 March 1802 in Corleone, named after her paternal grandmother, as is traditional for the first born daughter. She is the daughter of Don Giovanni Canzoneri and Donna Orsola Quaglino. Her godparents are Don Antonino Canzoneri and I.U.D. Baroness Donna Maria Landolina, represented by Don Francesco Quaglino.[1]
Castrenza marries doctor of surgery Francesco Orlando, son of Doctor Don Ferdinando Orlando and the late Donna Anna Paternostro, on 29 September 1820.[2]
Castrenza and Francesco have at least two children, Giuseppa (c. 1830) and Orsola (c. 1839).
I estimate their daughters are each around 20 years old when they marry.
Orsola is named after her maternal grandmother.
Donna Giuseppa marries Don Giuseppe Frisella , from Carini, on 4 February 1850. Dottore Francesco has died by this time.[3]
Orsola marries her maternal uncle Antonino in 1859.[4]
Castrenza dies at age 87 (b. 1802) on 19 July 1889.[5]
