Biography

Antoine Caouette was born on 19 Jul 1790 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish, L'Islet. He was the son of Antoine Caouette and Thérèse Morin. Antoine married Angélique Dupont on 4 Nov 1811 in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish; the couple raised eleven children there. Antoine died on 28 Oct 1861 and was buried two days later in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli parish.
