Edward Capel was born in Wales.

Edward Capel was born on the 31st May 1899 ^{[1] [2] [3]} in Abaed, Caernarvonshire. ^[4]

He married Helena Isabel Annie Dunford in Paddington during the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1919. ^[5]

At the time of the 1939 Register, he was living in Dawlish, Devon, with his wife, daughter, and mother-in-law. ^[1]

He died in Brighton on the 11th October 1957. ^{[6] [7]}
