Biography
Marie Louise Caplette was a Canadian First Peoples and member of the Métis Nation.
Marie Louise Caplette was born in the North-West Territories in 1837 to Joseph Caplette (French Canadian) and Angelique Guiboche (Métis).[1]
Marie married Pierre Desnoyer (son of Pierre Desnoyers and Angelique Bourassa) at St. Boniface on 29 Apr 1868. She had previously been married to Pierre or Francois Ducharme.[2]
On 16 Aug 1875, Marie (widow of Pierre Desnoyers) completed an affidavit claiming Métis scrip.[1]
