Gabriele was a barber raised near Naples, Italy. He and his young family came to Canada then to NYC in 1894. They lived in Brooklyn, Kings County, NY. Gabriele continued as a barber. In 1900, they lived at 69 Park Ave. He became a US citizen in 1906. By 1912 - the family moved to 21 Garfield Place in Brooklyn.

Gabriele Capone was the father of 'Scarface' Al Capone.

Gabriele died in Nov. 1920, just before his son, Al became very famous gangster in Chicago.
