William was 8 when the family emigrated to South Australia on the Blundell, arriving at Port Adelaide on 11 Oct 1856. [2]
He married Rebecca Allsop 17 Feb 1873 at the Registry Office, Adelaide, South Australia. [3]
William passed away age 65 on 1 Sep 1916 in North Adelaide [4] and was buried in West Terrace Cemetery. [5][6]
