Biography
Melvinia was born on the 15 th of June 1875 in Sopchoppy, Florida to Labon and Frances Caraway [1] [2] Melvinia married Jeff C. Calhoun on May 1st, 1894 in Alachua County. Little is known about how they met. [3] They had three sons: Thomas, Jefferson, and Noah. She passed away in 1931.
