Was also living with her eight siblings Her first to sisters Julia A age 18 and Betsy age 17 were born in New york all the others were born in Michigan. Jane age 13, Marertta age 12, Sherman age 8, Perry age 4 and then the twins Joseph and Josephine age 1.
July 2, 1860 lists Lydia Card age 19. She was born abt 1841 in Michigan and was attending school. her father was living on a farm he was farming that was valued at $1000. All her siblings living in the home were born in Michigan. Eber S age 18,William P age 13, Joseph and Josephine age 11, Samuel M age 8 and Alonzo age 6.
At the time of the 1880 Census, William Brooks family was living in Alden, Polk, Wisconsin. the household members included W. H., farmer age 43, wife Lydia, age 38, son, Davis age 13 daughter, Cora age 19, Sons Charly age 9 and Earnest age 5.
1895 lists 53 year old Lydia Brooks was living in Dora, Otter Tail, Minnesota. She was living there with her husband William 59 and two of there sons.Charles 24 and Ernest 20.
June 6,1900, lists 61 year old Lydia Brooks who was living in Dora, Ottertail, Minnesota on a farm that they owned in full.Was living there with her husband, William, age 67. 
Death and Burial
She died on February 28, 1908, in Otter Tail, Minnesota, at the age of 69, and was buried in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota in the West Dora Cemetery.
