Luigi Cardinali, born 3 June 1846 in Parma, Italy, working as a plasterer, arrived to Sundsvall, Sweden, from Trondhjem, Norway in November 1887. He moved to Skön parish (near Sundsvall) in 1889.[1] The same record is available through FamilySearch.[2]
He came back to Sundsvall from Skön in 1895.[3] He does seem to have left Sweden but it is not certain when, since he was just transferred to the book of absentees in December 1912.[4]
The profile was originally based upon the Census 1900 as the single source. Unmarried and working as a plasterer. Living in Sundsvall, Västernorrlands län, Sweden.[5]
Research note
The Luigi Cardinali who was born in Napoli and died in America about 1900 is probably a different person from the Luigi Cardinaly who was born in Parma and lived in Sweden at the time of the census 1900.
