The 1860 census has an Adeline Cardwell, age 28, cooking for Obediah's family. She is too young to be the mother of all his children.
Obediah was born in 1822 in Virginia.[1]
On 1 July 1863 Obediah (age about 41) was living in Sub District, Butler, Kentucky, United States. Age: 43[2]
