There is no documentation on the birth, death or marriage dates for Sarah Cary Gerrad, the wife of John Gerrad. She is mentioned only in Quaker records as the wife of John Gerrad and in Berks Co, PA deed records in 1801 when she and her husband sold the Gerrad farm. She and her husband were Quakers attending the Exeter Meeting.

Quaker records give the names of her 4 children as Nathaniel, Eleanor, Mary, and Ann. Her son, mentioned in his grandfather's will, was born before Feb 1760 when the will was written.

In 1786, John and Sarah are accepted into the Exeter Meeting (Quaker Congregation). 2-29-1804: John rocf Robinson MM: rocf - received on certificate = accepted into church as members based on certificate from Robeson stating they were members in good standing.

In 1801, John and Sarah "of Exeter Twp" sold the 100 acres in Robeson Twp that John had inherited from his father. Their son, Nathaniel, appears on Robeson Twp tax lists between 1786-1799, living on 100 acres, presumably, his grandfather's land.

Sarah was still alive in 1801. Quaker records show she was buried at the Exeter Mtg. but with no date. Buried with daughter Anna, Jonathan Worrall, Mordecai Lee, and Thomas Ellis all sons in law.
