Biography

William was baptized on 21 Feb 1746/7 in Herne, Kent, England. He is the son of George and Elizabeth Carey.^[1][2] William was buried in Herne, St. Martin, Kent, England on 23 Aug 1818.^[3]

• I found clues to possible grandparents of William. Baptism and christening records from towns closest to Canterbury (where William was born).^[4][5]
• There is also a burial record for a William Carey who was buried in Herne, Kent, England on 15 Apr 1785. I cannot access the image without going to a family search library. I believe it may be a grandfather, uncle or other William Carey^[6]
