Biography

On 6 May 1910 at the time of the 1910 US Census, head of household Jacob Reither (age 43, born in OH) was employed as a Farmer and living in Owl Creek, Washington with his wife Esther Reither (age 36, born in OH); daughter Pansy Reither (age 18, born in OH); son Harry Reither (age 16, born in OH); son Harley Reither (age 7, born in OH); son Charles Reither (age 4, born in OH); daughter Amy Reither (age 1, born in OH); son Orville Caris (age 17, born in OH); and daughter Elva Caris (age 13, born in OH). Jacob and Esther had been married for 12 years. Esther had given birth to 8 children, 6 of whom were still alive at that time. Jacob's father was born in Germany and his mother in Ohio; both of Esther's parents were born in Ohio. ^[1]
