Mary was born in 1950. She was the daughter of Harry Carle. She passed away in 2012.
Mary Elizabeth Morgan (Carle), of Suffern, died suddenly at her home on Saturday, January 7, 2012. She was sixty-one.
She was born March 3, 1950 in Queens, NY to the late Harry P. Carle and Elizabeth M. Carle (Hesse). She grew up in Nanuet, NY, attending St. Anthony's School and graduating from Albertus Magnus High School and Rockland Community College.
She lived for ten years in Sound Beach and Port Jefferson on Long Island before returning to Rockland County, where she worked for the United States Postal Service for twenty-six years.
She was the devoted wife of Robert of Suffern. She was a loving mother to Sarah of Maplewood, NJ and Brendan of Houston, TX. She was a joyful grandmother to Elizabeth and Katherine. She adored her son-in-law Mark of Maplewood and her daughter-in-law Alexis of Houston. She is also survived by her eleven younger brothers: Peter Carle (Margie) of Pearl River, Paul of Middletown, RI; Patrick Carle (Elizabeth) of New City, Matthew Carle (Nancy) of Pearl River, Martin Carle (Shannon) of Garnerville, Christopher Carle of Boston, MA; Gerard Carle of Nanuet, Eugene Carle of Congers, Vincent Carle (Angela) of Pearl River, Joseph Carle of Nanuet, and Harry Carle (Jacqueline) of Nanuet. She also leaves behind dozens of nieces, nephews, and brothers- and sisters- in law. Mary was a joy to everyone she met and a friend to all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Higgins Funeral Home in New City on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony's Church in Nanuet on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
