Mary was baptised 5 Oct 1735 in St Mary's Garforth[1]: Mary the daughter of John Carlin, collier.
On 5 November 1759, she was married. Banns of marriage between Edward Hemsworth and Mary Carlin were published on the 21st and 28th of October, and the 5th of November 1759 by me Leighton Hector. The said Ed Hemsworth of the Parish of Garforth in the county of York, Labourer and Mary Carlin of the said, of the Parish Spinster(sic). Married in this Church by Banns this fifth day of November in the Year, one thousand seven hundred and fiftynine by me Ch-- Leighton Hector.[2]
Mary died in 1809 and was buried at St Mary's Garforth[1]: Mary Hemsworth, aged 74 years, Decr 28
At ancestry.com many users have 1737 as the birth date (based on a baptism in Granby Nottinghamshire) and a 1775 death (based on a burial record on 4 May 1775 in Eastwood, Nottingham, England). This is not confidently associated as of yet.
