Biography

Thomas was born on May 17th, 1875 at 87, Howard Street South, Belfast, Ireland. He was the son of Thomas Carlisle (A Store Keeper) and Mary Ann Reid. His Birth was registered by his Father Thomas. [1]

On July 2nd, 1897 Thomas (A Despatch Clerk) married Ann Robinson in the Registrar's Office in Belfast, Ireland. Thomas was recorded as Full Age, a Bachelor, and residing at 16, Mount Street in Belfast. Annie was recorded as a Minor, a Spinster, and residing at 49, Roden Street in Belfast. The witnesses were William Jackson and Jennie Connor.[2]

Thomas and Annie can be found during the 1901 Census of Ireland residing in a house number 43 on Rosebery Road with their first two children Thomas and Mabel. [3] [4]

Thomas and Annie are still residing on Rosebery Road during the 1911 Census of Ireland with by then their first three children Thomas, Mabel and Mary.[5] [6]

Thomas passed away on March 9, 1947 (Age 71).[7] He is interred in Knockbreda Cemetery (Plot K 534), in Belfast, County Down, Northern Ireland. [8]
