James was born in 1828. He was a medical doctor and also a Reverend. He died in 1909 and is buried in Liberty Hill Methodist Church Cemetery, near McCool, Mississippi.

I am still looking for this family in 1900 and 1920 census. In 1980, Margaret E. was living with her parents, J. A. Carlisle and Lucretia Harris.
