Biography
William M Carlton was born in 1806 in Gallatin, Kentucky, his father, Edmund, was 31 and his mother, Sally, was 31. He was married three times and had seven sons and seven daughters. He died in November 1889 in Washington, Kansas, having lived a long life of 83 years, and was buried in Frontenac, Kansas.
