  • On November 19, 1761 James Coleman, gent., of Orange Co. VA sold to Henry Barlow and John Carlton, planters of Orange Co., 400 acres in Albermarle County on the upper side of Chestnut Mountain, the waters of Pritty's Creek, adjoining William Cradock and John Dowell, the land to be divided between the said Barlow and Carlton by a specified line.
