Biography

Albert, born about 1865 in Belleville, Canada West (Ontario), ^[1]was the son of Methodist minister Albert Carman and Mary Jane Sisk. ^[2]He was the longtime editor-in-chief of the Montreal Star and the author of The Preparation of Ryerson Embury (1900), a social gospel novel, and The Pensionnaires (1903).

He married Harriet Gertrude Walker in Belleville in 1886.^[3] He died in 1939.^[4] He was buried in Forest Lawn Mausoleum in Toronto, Toronto Municipality, Ontario, Canada.^[5]
