Biography

Edward Carman was born in 1818 in Norwich, Norfolk. He was the son of John Carman and Sophia Woodrow^[1].

In 1840 Edward was elected as a freeman of the city of Norwich^[2].

In 1843 he married Ann Lince in Norwich^[3][4] and they had a daughter Sophia (b.1844, d.1899).

After Ann died in 1847 Edward married Elizabeth Lince in Norwich in 1849^[5] but they didn't have any children.

Edward died in 1884 in Norwich^[6] and was buried in Earlham Cemetery, Norwich^[7].
