They lived in the house in Hector township, Schuyler County, on Carman road, 1/2 mile north of Mecklenburg. John W Corey was born here in 1866. Caleb and Anna Frost Carman moved to this house from Greene County in 1811. They bought it from Captain Hanley and is the first house north of the Perry City Meeting House.
