Biography
William was born in 1840. He was the only child born to Charles Frederic Carne and Sarah Hannah Naylor. [1] His mother died after his birth, and in 1851 was living with his widowed father. [2]
William married Charlotte Groube in Bedfordshire in 1863. [3] They were living in Cornwall by 1871. [4]
Charlotte died in 1878 [5], and William remarried Lucy Oxland in Devon in 1880. [6] They were living in St. Agnes, Cornwall, in 1891. [7]
William passed away at the age of 66 in 1906 and was buried in St. Agnes. [8][9]
