Lorene was born in Tyler, Smith County, Texas, United States in 1910, the daughter of Robert Green Carnes and Jennette "Jennie" R. Uber Carnes.[1]
She married Zeb Swinney in late 1930 or early 1932.[2]
She passed away in Tyler, Smith County, Texas in 1932 due to childbirth complications sixteen days after delivery of a daughter that died the same day.[1] She is buried in Williams Cemetery, New Chapel Hill, Smith County, Texas.[3][2]
