MILDRED VERMELLE COLEMAN
On August 23rd 2014 at 6:05 PM, Mildred Vermelle Carney Coleman drifted away from this life to be with her husband Jack.
Mildred Carney, born November 6, 1922 in Melvin, Alabama to Ella Elvira Dykes and Isaac Isaiah Carney.
Mildred worked at International Paper Company in Prichard, Alabama where she met her future husband John Charles Coleman. They married in June of 1949 and remained happily married for 65 years. Mildred lost her husband in March of this year. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Mildred is survived by her sons John, Richard, Garry and Mark (Patty) and daughter Evelyn all living in Mobile Alabama. Grandchildren Justin Coleman and Jordan Coleman living in Connecticut, Brandon Wolverton living in Texas, Rodney Jon Wagner living in Colorado, Emily Coleman living in South Carolina, and Coleman Wagner living in Mobile. Great grandchildren Madison and Scarlett Coleman (twin girls), born July 14th of this year, living in Connecticut.
There will be a memorial at the home of Richard Coleman on Friday.[4]
