CARNICOM - On the 15th inst., at his late residence near Kingsway, Ohio, of old age and general debility David Carnicom aged 82 years and 18 days. The funeral services were held Saturday Sept. 17th. at the Salem Lutheran church, Four Mile House, conducted by Rev. W.A. Bowman. Interment in cemetery near the church. Mr. Carnicom was born near Hagerstown, Md., came with his parents to Ohio in 1828 and located in Perry Co. where in 1832 he was united in marriage with Miss Sarah Albert. To them ten children were born; one son and two daughters preceded the father to eternity. In the year 1842 he came with his family to Sandusky Co. where he spent the remainder of his days as an industrious and respected citizen. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran church and departed this life trusting in Him who crowned him with good old age. He leaves an aged widow, 5 sons, 2 daughters, 52 grand children, 10 great grand children and other relatives and friends to mourn his departure.
