Alfred est né à Pain Court, Kent le 24 Jul 1888. Il était le fils de Mederic Caron et Elmire Faubert.
Il épousa Lucy Béchard à Pain Court le 16 février 1909.

Cultivateur bien connu, il décida de devenir commercant de grains de semence. Il avait un camion et faisait le transport de la ferme à divers endroits en Ontario. Il fit de très bonnes affaires durant les années 1930s et 1940s avant de mourir tragiquement à l'age de 61 ans dans un accident de dynamitage le 19 octobre 1949.
Il est enterré au cimetière paroissial à Pain Court.
