Elizabeth _____ married Nicholas Crundall (aka Crondall, Crandall) and was buried at Winterbourne, Gloucestershire on 20 June 1605. The parish register describes her as "Elizabeth, wife of Nicholas Crondall, clericus".[1][2]
Elizabeth's maiden name is unknown, but there is a possibility that it may be Jones as, in a 1600 complaint, a John Jones was described as the brother-in-law of Nicholas Crundall. She may be related to another John Jones of St. Stephen's, Bristol who died testate in 1619, leaving lands in Monmouthshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol. However, because the name is so common, it is difficult to positively identify potential relationships.[1]
