I see you have added Stephen Fitzhenry born 1826 in Liverpool. I am just new to this site so not 100% on how to use it. Came across it because I am very interested in my Fitzhenry’s who settled in Liverpool from Wexford, Ire. You and I both must share Edward Fitzhenry and his wife Ellen Cavanagh because I descend from Stephen’s sister, Ellen Fitzhenry. I am more curious of Edward’s parentage though. Edward’s father has a very interesting forename and I am confident that our Fitzhenrys actually came from Clonroche, New Ross or Old Ross areas. They were mostly Blacksmiths. I know that Edward was. That leads me into finding out more in depth detail about the Irish War of 1798 because I have no doubt they must have been involved. I’ve done an extensive tree on Ancestry. My dad, his sister and myself have all done our DNA on Ancestry and mines is also on 23 and Me. Interested to see if we can get any further back that Edward Fitzhenry born around 1792 in New Ross and died in Liverpool. Feel free to get in contact.

Thank you so much for all your contributions to WikiTree and for helping others to connect to family!
Just wanted to remind you to add the Find A Grave Memorial Number or the Ancestry Profile Number when you indicate that as a source on a new profile. Or even simply cutting and pasting the web address of the page you found the information on would be extremely helpful. That way when someone else looks at the profile, they can simply enter the number or go to the webpage to find exactly the same information to found.
Happy WikiTreeing!

I see you have recently made small changes to the profiles for Francis Ambrose Gow and Ambrose Terry Gow. I'm wondering if you are a descendant of Richard Terry Gow and therefore of his father William PT Gow? William PT Gow was my 3X great-grandfather and I have an extensive "Gow tree" on Ancestry. Regards Barbara
I see you have contributed to the CURNOW connection and am just wandering if you have a connection via my CURNOW in Illogan Cornwall as I have a 1x great aunt Elizabeth Ann CURNOW married James Carpenter from Illogan in Cornwall uk. Is he any relation to you ?
I am also a descendant of Catherine Burgis nee Parker. She is my Great great grandmother on my Fathers side. I have details of her parents and grandparents who were from the Isle of Man. Also her middle name is not Sophia. Sophia was her mother in law's name. I did the Tree about 10 years ago and have just gone back to it now and came across Wiki Tree. If you are interested in getting the info, contact me and I will be happy to help. regards Lisa The sender, Lisa McArthur [email address removed]

I can see you have been doing some work on the CHALWELL family. Are you related? Would you like to manage any of the profiles I have created for the family?
Your tree came up when I was doing some genealogy on my Rossiter branch of the family. Thanks for adding to it Catherine
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
