Biography

Samuel Carpenter, son of William and Abigail Carpenter, who came from England on the Bevis in 1638, m. May 25,1660 Sarah Redway, dau. of James Redway. Samuel Carpenter d. Feb. 20, 1682. Children: James b. Apr. 12, 1668. (p. 148-152) [1]

James, son of Samuel Carpenter, was born April 12, 1668; died April 27, 1738; married June 26, 1690, Dorothy Bliss, born January 27, 1668; died October 28, 1694-5; m. 2nd, April 15, 1695, Grace Palmer.
