Biography

William Carpenter was born about 1780 ^[1][2] in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England & baptised there 6th February 1780,^[1][2] the son of Joseph Carpenter & Elizabeth Deller.

William Carpenter & Esther Flint, both of the Parish were married by Banns 16th November 1805 in the Parish Church of Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England by Rob't Bradbury, Curate of Graveley. William & Esther both made their Mark. Witnesses were William Outeridge & John Kimpton.^[3][4]

William Carpenter died aged 80, in August 1857 ^[5][6] in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England & was laid to rest there 25th August 1857.^[6]
