Biography

Leck Carpenter was born on 6 Mar 1871 in Kentucky, USA, son of Jeremiah Carpenter (1849 - 1925) and Idress (Howard) Carpenter (1857 - 1915).

He lived with his parents and siblings in Spring Fork in 1880.

Leck (21) married Margaret Mann (16) (born in Breathitt, Kentucky on 26 Nov 1876; died in Lexington, Fayette, Kentucky on 5 Mar 1963), daughter of John Wesley Mann and Elizabeth S. Risner, on 2 Mar 1893 in Breathitt.

Leck died on 24 Nov 1950 in Bath County, Kentucky aged 79. He is buried in Johnson Cemetery, Menifee County, Kentucky.[1]
