Biography
When James Carpenter was born in 1781 in Isle of Wight, England, his father, James, was 25 and his mother, Patience, was 21. He married Hannah Beavis on June 7, 1807. They had six children in 11 years. He died in April 1846 at the age of 65, and was buried in Hampshire, England.
