Biography

Bruce grew up on a farm in Orion Township, Michigan, one of six children of Byron and Iva Chamberlain Carpenter.^[1][2]

He married Virginia Vieg and they are the parents of four children.

Bruce died in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at age 57.^[3][4]
