the poet Robert Service, who wanted Clarence to read his poetry. Uncle Clarence told him "Bob, you'll never be a poet". Later, my father Paul, memorized many of the poems of Robert Service and would tell them to us. My sister Paula and I can still recite "Dangerous Dan McGrew" by heart. We both love his poetry.
