Barnesville, O - Mrs. Sarah L. Carpenter Turner, 88, a resident of Somerton, died Sunday morning at Barnesville General hospital. She had been residing for the past 18 months with her daughter, Mrs. Julia Sivard of Bethesda Rt. 1. She was a widow of Joseph Turner. Mrs. Turner was born in Noble county on Sept. 30, 1869, the daughter of Isaac and Jane Brown Carpenter and was a member of The Barnesville East Main street Church of Christ. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Sivard are two other daughters, Mrs. Mary Warrick of Barnesville and Mrs. Pearl Campbell of Westerville; six sons, Marion of Tampa, Fla., Raymond of Burgettstown, Pa., Robert of Alliance, Carl of Woodville, William of Massillon and George of Geauga Lake. The body was taken to the Latham funeral home at Bethesda where services will be held Tuesday at 1 P.M. with Rev. Fernwood Markle in charge. Burial will be in Somerton cemetery.
