At the time of the 1885 Minnesota State Census, H.N., Niancy, Gertruile, R.A., Alfa, and Adna Carpenter were listed as living in Getty, Minnesota[1].
William A Fox married Edna B Carpenter on 29 Nov 1905 at Sauk Centre, in Minnesorta.[2] Regrettably this type of marriage bond does not have additional biographical information.
WA Fox (28) is mis-transcribed as "Matt Fox" on the 1910 census and honestly the original writing does resemble Matt but it's clearly "W A" upon inspection.[3] He is present with wife Edna (29) and young children; William (3) and Leonore (18 mos). WA Fox is a Brakeman on the Railway and the census gives his birth state as Minnesota but his parents as Wisconsin.
By the time of the 1916 Census of the Prairie Provinces, William A., Edna, Rodney, and Leanor Fox were listed as living in Winnipeg, Manitoba.[4]
Wm A Fox (40) is on the 1921 census with wife Edna Beulah (40) and their children; Rodney (14), Douglas (1 and 5 mos), and Leonore (12).[5]
