Biography
Charles R. Carpenter, son of Samuel Carpenter and Sarah Hix/Hicks, was born on 30 Oct. 1768 at Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts.[1]
He married Lucy Darling, daughter of Stephen Darling and Prudence White.[1]
Charles died on 18 Nov. 1840 at Deerfield Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Carpenter Cemetery, Knoxville, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. His memorial has a photo of his headstone, biographical material and links to those of family members. [1]
