Buried in Stewart Cemetery along with his son, John Bluford Carr. Has a monument in front of the Dickson Co. County Court House in Charlotte, Tenn. Note: The D.A.R. has a Gideon Carr Chapter./Dickson, Dickson, Tennessee, United States
