Biography
Alice was born in 1869, the daughter of Richard Carr and Emily Saunders.[1] In 1881, the Carr household in Victoria, British Columbia consisted of: Richard Carr (62), Emily Carr (44), Edith Carr (25), Clara Louisa Carr (23), Elizabeth Carr (13), Alice Carr (11), Emily Carr (9), Richd Henry Carr (5) plus one unrelated adult.[2]
In 1901, Alice lived with her sisters; their household consisted of: Edith Carr (46), Elizabeth Carr (32), Alice M Carr (30), Emily Carr (28) plus 2 boarders and 2 domestic servants.[3]
She passed away in 1953; she had been a school teacher and had never married. [4] She was buried at Ross Bay Cemetery in Victoria, British Columbia.
