  • Born about 1825 either in St. John, Jersey, Channel Islands or Ireland. (He gives both in different censuses) and at his marriage to Mary Ann Jeandron, gives Mountrath, Queens County, Ireland
  • 1840 Committed to Hospital on 19 March for 7 days and left on 25th March, along his brothers Michael and John
  • 1841 living at Upper Pier Road, St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands with occupation Sailor Apprentice
  • 1851 may have been living at Cloth Street, Leeds, Yorkshire, England with occupation works at dyehouse
  • 1859 married Mary Ann Jeandron at St. Helier Town Church, St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands but by 1860 was living in Leeds with Catherine Sullivan who was the mother of all his children, and to date ( Dec 2017) no record of a marriage between them has been found.
  • 1860 living at Cherry Row, Leeds, Yorkshire, England with occupation glass blower
  • 1861 living at 103 Grape Street, Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire, England with occupation labourer in foundry
  • 1863 Occupation given as 'labourer' at Edward John's baptism
  • 1865 Occupation given as 'Tobacconiset' at Isabella's baptism
  • 1869 Occupation given as 'labourer' at Catherine's baptism and in 1870 at Frederick's
  • 1871 living at 11 Great Union Road, St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands with occupation rag merchant
  • 1881 living at Le Maistres Yard, James Street, Cottage 1, St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands with occupation labourer
  • 1886 admitted to Jersey General Hospital
  • 1891 living at 10 Gregory's Cottage, Elizabeth Lane, St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands with occupation chiffonier (rag & bone merchant)
  • Died in the General Hospital on 13 Dec 1891 at St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands and was buried in Mont a L'Abbe (Old) Cemetery by Rev de Gruchy
