John was born in 1861. He was the son of Mills Carr and Elizabeth Hodson. He passed away in 1930, and was buried at Dow Cemetery, Gravette, Benton County, Arkansas.[1]
CARR, John – John Carr, pioneer resident of Gravette community, passed away at his home west of that town Saturday, January 18th, following an illness of a few weeks. Mr. Carr had lived in that community for over 40 years and engaged in farming most of the time. His wife preceded him in death about six years ago. He is survived by several children and grandchildren. Burial was made in the Dow Cemetery.[2]
